I am trying to decide what color to paint my dining room since I hung the IKEA Maskros light. Right now I have a leftover circa 1989 teal green stripe (which coordinated with the mauve and teal wallpaper that was in the kitchen). I have no doubt that it was smashing....
call-your-neighbor-over-to-see-fabulous.... when the previous owners hung it on the walls. But it's time to go... and based on these photos, pale is the way to go. Check it out in bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms and your basic party room:

I have wanted one for the longest time!! The problem is... we only have fan fixtures for lighting fixtures in our bedrooms. The fans don't even light up! :/ Is there a solution?
